I have been running around Manhattan all week. Personal shopping for an executive in New York City can be quite an exhausting task. Its been a week of Bloomingdale’s, Barneys (2 separate occasions), Saks, Bond No9, Moma Store, Mister Wright Liquors, Morell Wine Store, Papyrus, and Hallmark.

Doors
As doors open, I must close others. Sometimes I get a super OCD urge to clean out my closet, this time the urge is to clean out my internet profiles and accounts which equals LOTS-O-WORK! This is a goal of mine over the break. Thank god my brother has wireless internet even though he lives out in the boonies. For now let’s just put it on the TO DO LIST.

Ok, so I am fully aware that I am 26 years of age but for some reason every time I see the Party Rental Limited truck with the big pink hippo on it I get really excited and it just makes my day. Winter Wish Maker
I just signed up to be a Winter Wish Maker through New York Cares.
Signing up to answer someone’s winter wish makes me feel better about the cruel and selfish world we live in. I also bought a Ballerina Barbie for the Toys for Tots drive here at work. Currently the poor Barbie is chilling in the bottom of the box all by herself.

I’m finally a true New Yorker. It’s official!
After only an hour at the Brooklyn DMV my car now has New York State plates. I’m rather shocked at how pleasant my DMV experience was this morning. Registered my car, got the state inspection done and had the new plates put on it - all within 2 hours!
Now its not gonna be so easy to find my car in the parking lot.
